Re: Biggus' Rat Rod King

Taken a while but I guess I needed some special wheels to suit the truck then saw these on Joes ebay site and had to get them. At the Leyland show Gareth was selling a set of low profile RC4wd tyres and grabbed them cheap (£5 for the pair). Think it looks tons better. http://www.tcphotos.com/pc_user...

Re: New to site and attempting my first build

Most of all enjoy the build, always helps to start off with good tools and I find it helps to sort the screws, nuts etc into separate trays of a box, and keep plenty of space for the build. Decals aren't so much of...

I have given it a go and painted up the white walls. Also found some chrome caps that work as hubcaps (22mm chrome button covers from local craft shop), Andy made me up a new tonneau cover. http://www.tcphotos.com/pc_userimages/280/img280_24092013231013_2.jpg http://www.tcphotos.com/pc_userimages/28...

Thanks Ken, wait no more the paint is finished, the wrap hasn't worked really well but it adds to the effect want to get a logo made up for the side but not sure what.. thinking of the name for it being "deadbeat" in line with all the skulls. http://www.tcphotos.com/pc_userimages/280/img28...

http://tamiyaclub.com/tc_userimages/280/img280_10092013233902_3.jpg A member of another forum donated this Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin shell, so I had to find something to do with it and the Alfa Guila M06 I had was used for the project, once I changed chassis to short wheelbase it all lined up perfect...

Race Truck
